Class Synopsis: The class will address numerous key changes to Chapters 1 through 4 of the 2025 California Electrical Code. Also learn how to best use NFPA Link.
Instructor: Tim McClintock, NFPA Tim McClintock is the Lead Regional Electrical Specialist for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), dedicated to advancing electrical safety through strategic outreach, education, and advocacy with state and local jurisdictions for the use and enforcement of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and related electrical standards. Tim has also been the Midwest Region Field Representative for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and was the Chief Building Official/Electrical Inspector for Wayne County Building Department in Ohio.
COST: This class is complimentary.
Students will need to be able to show proof that they are either inspectors or plan checkers for city or county jurisdictions, or are representatives from state and local governments, or work for consulting organizations that provide inspection and plan review services to state and local government agencies.
Lunch and AM / PM snack breaks will be provided.
Students should bring code books or digital access to class with them.
