Two Canucks and recent Stanford graduates, Alexander Michalatos and Andrei Molchynsky have backgrounds in construction, real estate development, and law. During their time at Stanford, they delved into the challenges faced by local governments and recognized the potential of artificial intelligence to assist municipalities in their operations. Their research has led to the development of a software tool for local governments and permit applicants. They built the 'digital counter,' effectively screening permit submissions for completeness. Collaborating with cities throughout California and Utah, they have already witnessed remarkable improvements in submission quality and a more streamlined compliance review process.
